November is one of my most favorite months of the year. The leaves begin to fall, the weather cools, football is on, and start of the holiday has all the family together.
I call it the Thank You Month. An extra opportunity to say Thank You for being a valuable part of our historic business. As most begin to prepare for the Holiday season, plan Thanksgiving get-togethers and the like, it’s easy to become wrapped up in all that we have to do to ensure a fun, joyful time for all we are responsible for and overlook all that we have to be thankful for. Gratitude though is an attitude that is contagious! I’m encouraging my team to say thank you MORE than yesterday and count those blessings daily!
I have TWO things for you in this months homeward bound:
Firstly… Many homeowners are anxious to exit their current home. Actually, loathing selling this time of year as it adds to the frustration of not being settled for the Holiday’s. You may know someone or a family that fits this description.
And Secondly … YOUR referrals help those in need in Central Florida. We are still boldly on a mission of raising $10,000 for Matthew’s Hope.
Giving Back Means the World to Us
Speaking of gifts… In last month’s letter, we updated you on our goal of raising $10,000 for Matthews Hope. This is where we need your help and how you can benefit at the same time… Charitable contributions are tax deductible to a point. Rather than give your money to the government, you should consider making a donation to a charity. We believe it will somehow come back to you – well beyond a simple tax deduction. A core value of our team is “the size of the hole you give back is directly proportionate to the size of the hole you receive back.” Either way, your referrals are in good hands and help us contribute to a good cause.
Life moves fast for some and we are eager to make the Home Selling and Buying experience a smooth & rewarding one. Over the last 7+ years of helping thousands of families sell their home and/or buy another, we have met some wonderful, loving, caring people. People like you!
Tri & Run of West Orange is having a fundraiser on Thanksgiving Day to benefit Matthew’s Hope. 100% of all proceeds will go to Matthew’s Hope Ministries to serve the homeless men, women and children of our community. In addition, Tri & Run will collect Matthew’s Hope Bags of Blessings filled with Food & Hygiene items to replenish our Pantries.
The morning activities will include a 40 minute workout for runners and walkers. Event tees will be available to the first 250 participants for a nominal donation of $15. Post workout beverages provided. As always this fun run/walk is open to anyone and everyone who wants to come out. No guarantee of event tee and/or size when signing up 11/25 – 11/27. No one chooses to be homeless, yet the reality is there are many people who are experiencing homeless every night. In Central Florida, over 14,000 students were identified as being homeless in the central Florida area as of April 2019. The chronically homeless are visible on our streets downtown and in the woods. Housing people is the opportunity we have to help!
