HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO YOU AND YOURS!
Love covers a multitude of wrongs. I was cruelly led to believe when I was young that Valentine’s Day was reserved ONLY for those closest to us, and it would be weird to wish strangers or acquaintances a Happy Valentine’s Day—equal to telling them I love them. But aren’t we suppose to love others? Of course I’m bringing up Valentine’s because its February, the month for Valentines, and it’s a BIG deal… bigger than just flowers or dinner with that special someone. Here is my thought about what love is really all about. This scripture truly conveys what love is:
Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.
Giving Back Means the World to Us
Speaking of gifts… In last month’s letter, we updated you on our goal of raising $10,000 for Matthews Hope. This is where we need your help and how you can bene
fit at the same time… Charitable contributions are tax deductible to a point. Rather than give your money to the government, you should consider making a donation to a charity. We believe it will somehow come back to you – well beyond a simple tax deduction. A core value of our team is “the size of the hole you give back is directly proportionate to the size of the hole you receive back.” Either way, your referrals are in good hands and help us contribute to a good cause.
