Today I’m taking you behind the scenes of reunion resort, which is a neighborhood just, five minutes outside of the Walt Disney world’s main gate. Both PRIMARY RES And Vacation home owners LOVE this location because its super convenient to I-4 and the 429 to get around Central Florida very easily! Right outside of the 24 hour manned gates at reunion, you have a Publix shopping center, Aldis and lots of restaurants quick service locations and lots of local services like gyms and pharmacies.. Just a couple miles to the West you have even more options at Champions Gate w/ Shopping and dining locations. Now, behind the scenes today you’re going to see the amenities like the waterpark and the 54 holes of golf as well as the 11 story hotel and obviously as a real estate agent, I have to show you the real estate, so stay tuned.
So let’s start at the reunion grand, which is the hotel at the heart of the reunion resort. This 11 story building has actually different condos that you can purchase and then lease back to the hotel program right here onsite, onsite. There’s also two restaurants, which is forte. It’s an Italian restaurant as well as 11 named for it’s location on the 11th floor that overlooks the fireworks as well as the grounds here at reunion resort. It’s definitely an icon that you can see from all over central Florida and something you want to check out. So whether you’re staying here for vacation or you own a property here in reunion, there’s a ton of different amenities that you can take advantage of. You have 10 pools throughout the community. The water park here is incredible.
It’s got a lazy river, different kids’ activities slides throughout, so if you’re here in central Florida on vacation and you want to take advantage of all of the Disney and the universal stuff, you can also spend multiple days here without ever having to leave the reunion resort. So being part of your resort like this, you can imagine that there’s multiple homeowners association costs, so there’s your main HOA fee that covers like the guard at the gate as well as the maintenance of the common areas as well as the pool that’s right near your house. If you want access to all 10 pools and the water park and some of the other social things, there’s a social membership that you can belong to as well as a golf membership. If you’re a huge golfer, which we’re going to talk about next, there’s an additional fee that you can have unlimited golf.
All right, so golf is your thing. There’s actually three 18 hole golf courses right here in reunion designed by some of the legends of golf, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, and Jack Nicholas, all of which have been named some of the best golf in Florida by golf digest multiple years in a row. So as a real estate agent, I want to stop for a minute and talk a little bit about the real estate here in reunion. You have smaller condos ranging from 1200 to 1800 square foot, three bedrooms all the way up to mid sized houses like this, which are like four to eight bedrooms all the way up to luxury level homes, which are 18 to 13 bedrooms and have some insane amenities like golf course views and home movie theaters, large pools, things like that that you would expect of an estate sized home.
